Must Have Games for Android 2

Posted by Unknown Selasa, 26 Juni 2012 0 komentar
Since my last post only introduce to you about only 3 games for Android, here and now, i am going to introduce another 3 games that i think Android phone cannot be an Android phone without them.

The first game is aTilt 3D Labyrinth

This game will really get you mad when you start playing the hard difficulty level. It require us to control our hand by tilting the phone and hence cause the ball to get to the final destination. The only trick for this game to make it easier to play is by lowering the sensitivity of the device in the setting of the game.

The second game is Where's My Water?

This is a game which can help us to relieve our pressure or help us to use up our free time, and it's really gain your interest when you play for several level, the only thing we need to de in this game is to dig the land for the water to flow to the Swampy, the crocodile. That's all.

The third game is Zenonia 3

As a RPG lover, i really love this kind of game, although Final Fantasy is not available on Android, except for the GBA version, but Zenonia 3 will be the replacement of FF when we dont have it in Android. If i'm not mistaken, i think Zenonia 3 does not require Wi-Fi connection to play, that's why i introduce Zenonia 3 instead of Zenonia 4 to you.

How to move dalvik cache to sd card (completely move all apps to sd card)

Posted by Unknown Minggu, 17 Juni 2012 0 komentar
Hello, today I am going to show you how to move dalvik cache (what still consume our phone memory after moving apps to sd card) to sd card, or in simple way to say I will show you how to completely move all apps to sd card. The thing we need is A2SD, and this is quite a dangerous changes to our phone as compared to what i showed you before, but i get it success since last week, and till now luckily haven't face any problem yet, so i think i get it success already. (Whew... long introduction and i can sure that you will succeed if you follow what i have done)

I have installed over 60 Apps in my phone and now it only consumes me less than 30 mb of internal memory, this photo shows that it consumes me 43 mb, but the time when i formatted my phone, it defaultly consumes me 16 mb.

Please take note: CWM 5 has to be installed into your phone, my older post already showed you how to do that.

1. Your phone have to be rooted and already flashed to cyanogenmod 7.2, for galaxy ace users, here
is how to flash it to cyanogenmod 7.2. (for users who newly flash their phone to Cyanogenmod
7.2, i recommend you to use your phone in CM 7.2 for at least one week and see whether it has
problem or not, then you may continue to next step), for the other custom rom users, u may tried this too,
but remember to backup your phone (CWM recovery>backup and restore>backup>yes) before you
make this changes to your phone, this is highly recommended to prevent any risk.

2. For other phone user, you may still do this to your phone but you have to download the package
which is suitable for your phone here (choose your phone model and press the download button),
and use the steps given here, and just follow all the steps there but replace the Cyanogenmod.zip
with what .zip file you have downloaded.

3. After that, use Titanium Backup (i have shown in older post) to backup all apps and data and
connect your phone to your pc, drag all of the files in your sd card and copy them all to your pc.

4. Power off your phone, and hold 'LOCK SCREEN BUTTON' + 'HOME BUTTON' to access your
recovery screen, don't release anything until you see the recovery screen. (Different phone has
different type of combination key to recovery screen, just google search for what is for your phone)

5. Choose 'advanced' and choose 'Partition SD card' by using your 'VOLUME UP' and 'VOLUME
    DOWN' key.

6. Choose a size for your new extra memory (extended memory) from your sd card, for 8gb memory
card i recommend 1 gb of size, then choose 0 mb for the swap size. And wait for it to be
    completed.

7. Choose 'mount and storage' and then 'format /sd-ext'.

8. Reboot your phone and open terminal emulator normally cyanogenmod 7.2 included this app, if
you don't have, just download it from the Google Play Store.

9. Type 'mount | grep sd-ext' into terminal emulator, and you should see this
    /dev/block/mmcblk0p2 on /sd-ext type ext3
    (rw,noatime,nodiratime,barrier=1,nodelalloc,data=ordered),
if you have done the steps before properly.

10. Now download this and copy it to your sd card.

11. Reboot your device in CWM recovery and then mount your data and system by going to mounts
and storage>>mount /data and mounts and storage>>mount /system options respectively.

12. Now go back to main menu and go to install zip from sd>>choose zip from sdcard option and
select the .zip file that you have downloaded from your sd card.

13. After the script is installed reboot your device.

14. You succeed to install A2SD to your phone, and now download A2SDGUI from Google Play
      Store.

15. Open A2SDGUI, if you see 'Apps are on phone memory' press this button once, if you see 'Apps
are on SD!', just don't do anything. Then install Titanium backup, and restore all of your Apps
      and data to your phone.

16. In A2SDGUI, press the 'Dalvik' button on the top bar, and check the 'Dalvik Cache on SD-EXT'
then press the button 'Move and rebuild!' below.

17. Your phone will be rebooted now, and the only thing you can do is BE PATIENT, because it will
take you very long long time for the rebooting to be completed if you have over 50-60 Apps in
your phone i think 10-20 minutes will be taken. I have waited very long time.

18. After rebooting finished, you don't need to bother anymore about your phone memory, and you
don't need to rebuild dalvik cache anymore again, if you still want you may rebuild it once few
      weeks.

(See, my phone memory is freed for 133 mb and i have that much apps to fill 5 pages in my Apps Drawer)

19. Thanks for watching my blog, please subscribe me, or follow my facebook page here, i need your support, thanks.

If you still want to move even more things to your sd ext, further steps are at here.

Please take note that don't enable the 'move all apps to sd card' in your Cyanogenmod setting, because you are actually fooling your phone to recognize the sd-ext as your phone internal memory.

Feel free to donate 1 or 2 dollars to me, if i did help you in getting this succeeded, thank you for your kindness.

Must Have Apps for Android

Posted by Unknown Rabu, 06 Juni 2012 0 komentar
Hey there, today I explain to you all about the must have apps for your android devices, these apps really brought me a lot of fun, helped me a lot, and so I consider them as must have apps for Android devices. Just press the 'Muat Turun' button when you reach the download site to download what you want.

1. Smart Tools.

This is a good app that suits everyone especially engineer, Smart tools give users special functions
that our phone normally does not have, such as compass, length, angle & distance measurer, touch
light, metal tester (I don't know what uses of this), sound & vibration tester.

    You may download it here.

2. Star Chart.

Star Chart fulfills your wonder about the universe, the space, the planets, or even about the
constellations. I recommend to you to use the older v1.9.4 version instead of the latest v2.3 version
because I have tried that v1.9.4 version have less graphics requirement, as my phone runs v2.3
very very lag, but runs smooth in v1.9.4.

    You may download it here.

3. Concise Oxford English Dictionary.

I think this i useful to everyone as we need to learn throughout every second of our life, it really
help me a lot when I need to learn about the advance words of physics, chemistry, or biology.

You may download it here, and you need to extra download the data base in order to use the
    dictionary.

4. Maxthon Browser.

A faster and better browser than the Android default web browser, many themes can be used in
this browser to make it look pretty. Why don't I recommend other browser like Opera mini
browser? Because Opera mini change the website's appearance automatically, like Facebook and I
cannot watch Youtube video via Opera mini.

You may download it exactly free from Google Play Store.

5. GO Launcher EX.

This launcher app help you to make your operating system looks better and more easier to use, it
has better appearance & performance. You may change the appearance or the way of sorting of the
icons on your Apps Drawer according to what you like it to be.

You may download it exactly free from Google Play Store.

6. QuickPic.

I use this to replace our Android's default Gallery app, it's simple to explain, because Gallery gives
you everything that the media scanner scanned from your phone INCLUDING the cover and the
pictures from ebooks (this was annoying as i viewed my Gallery and i saw this things), but with
QuickPic, you may hide what is useless to you, and view what you want

You may download it exactly free from Google Play Store.

Thanks for watchin' please take 10 seconds to like my facebook page here, thanks.
