On my previoust post i have discussed about the android 4.2 release for galaxy nexus. Today i will give the tutorial to flash android 4.2 on Galaxy Nexus. I will give the stap by step insturction completely so that you can understand and do it without any porblems.Android is good, But you must follow my instruction exactly the same with what i was right below.

 First maybe you want to read my previous post about the android 4.2 galaxy nexus release news.

Install Android 4.2 On Samsung Galaxy Nexus

The only thing I would recommend is to do a wipe before you install it but you will lose your data, but at least you do a clean install and you'll avoid any errors during and after installation. ok here is the tutorial

1. Download the firmware from the following url = http://adf.ly/FndUE
2. Copy the file to the SD of your Galaxy Nexus.
3. Restart it in recovery.
4. Then do wipe data or factory reset, wipe partition, and wipe dalvik cache.
5. Flash Android 4.2 on the Galaxy Nexus.
6. Restart.

Requirements

• Extract file usb_driver.rar
• Right click on the item Android 1.0 (there is sign withexclamation mark you can look on picture above) and select Update Driver Software
• Choose Browse my computer for driver software
• Click Browse and select the folder usb drivers extracted earlier
• Continue installation of drivers.
• For Mac users, do not need to install the drivers because by default it is detected by the Mac OS.

- Fastboot

Once the driver is installed and running properly, the next step is to download the fastboot executable file. If previously you have downloaded the Android SDK, then fastboot is available in the folder android-sdk-windows/platform-tools/fastboot.exe for Windows and for Mac OS android-sdk-mac/platform-tools/fastboot. If there is no fastboot can be found, download and extract the tool GalNexJBRoot.zip . In the file there are fastboot executable file for windows (fastboot.exe), Mac OS (fastboot-mac) and Linux (fastboot-linux).



How To Unlock Galaxy Nexus Bootloader
Following are the steps to unlock bootloader on galaxy nexus:

1. Go to the directory where the fastboot executable file is located, for example, in Windows using command prompot (Start-> Run-> cmd), go to the directory D:\GalNexJBRoot.
2. Turn off the your phone.
3. In the Off state, press the volume up and volume down simultaneously with the Power button to get into bootloader
   
   
4. Connect the phone use usb cable to a computer
5. At the command prompot, type fastboot oem unlock
6. Choose Yes on the confirmation Unlock bootloader? Press the volume up to select Yes and press the Power button to execute.
   
   
7. Once unlocked, the status will be UNLOCKED LOCK STATE

Before going any further into how to manually update Jelly Bean, first check the product code of the Galaxy Nexus. If the code has already ICS 4.0.4 yakju and could just wait for the OTA update instead of manual updates. Okay, if you are sure to manually flashing official Jelly Bean, the following are the steps, I make as easy as possible so that it can be applied easily by newbie though. 1. Download Jelly Bean ROM
   Extract the file
2. For Windows users, if you use WinRAR when extract will generate a file-factory yakju-JZO54K. Rename the file to .zip extension and extract as usual
3. After extract the filein that deirectory contains some contains the file
   bootloader-maguro-primelc03.img
   flash-all.sh
   flash-base.sh
   image-yakju-JZO54K.zip
   radio-maguro-i9250xxlf1.img
4. copy the file to the directory where the fastboot is located.
5. For Mac users, the installation can use the flash file-all.sh for one time process, but if you want to do one at a time can be a way to read flash file-all.sh the editor and follow each of the steps contained in the file (valid also for Windows)
6. If you want to do one at a time then follow the steps below(in accordance with the contents of the flash-all.sh file) at the command prompt
